Ian is a senior developer, financier, constructor and investor with a long record of delivering complex engineering and construction services globally across numerous infrastructure markets including power, rail, water, waste and mining and metals.
For 18 years, Ian held various roles within Bechtel Corporation including Senior Vice President, Managing Director of Bechtel Enterprises, the group’s development and financing arm, and Project Director for several large projects. He served as President of Bechtel’s Fossil Power business and then established and was President of the Renewable Power business while concurrently serving as President of the Communications business. Prior to Bechtel, he established and was Managing Director of Wärtsilä Power Development (Asia) Limited and was Vice President of Project Finance for Hannon Armstrong & Company. Ian started his career at Booz Allen Hamilton in the utility consulting practice.
Ian is a graduate of Rutgers University with degrees in Engineering and Physics.
